Munibah Nooresehr

Munibah Nooresehr graduated from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 1992 under the training of Ustad Bashir Ahmed. She is the recipient of the Shakir Ali Award, the Haji Sharif Award for Miniature Painting, and the Berger Gold Medal for the Most Outstanding Student.

Her work is figurative, fluid, and lyrical, with a deep engagement with the illuminated margins of Indo-Persian manuscript tradition. She paints on true wasli in gouache and 24k gold.
